A rather quick post from me and one that doesn’t really need much chat (you’ll be pleased about that….). Introducing Mymonkfish’s wicked three tier red velvet sponge cake with cream cheese frosting made especially for the lovely ladies (and the odd gent) of the ‘Edinburgh Cake Ladies’.

Saturday afternoon was spent with Nigella with one very important mission in mind, that of icing my lovely Christmas cake – Nige. Maybe a little over familiar considering I’m going to be eating him (!!) but we’ve become extremely close during the last few weeks. Myself and Ms Lawson baked Nige a few weeks ago at our own stir up saturday party and he’s been tucked away in the Hillside pantry since then. Continue reading
