Mymonkfish is proud to be partnering with Earthy Foods, Edinburgh, to present the ‘ Pop-Up Coconut Curry Club’ at Ratcliffe Terrace on Thursday 10th November at 7.30pm.  Earthy Foods have just been crowned ‘Best Independent’ in Scotland by the Observer Food Monthly Awards 2011, a worthy accolade for such a passionate and knowledgeable retailer. This passion is plain to see in-store at both the Ratcliffe and Portobello stores and is now going to extend into some very exciting events of which the ‘Pop-Up Coconut Curry Club’ is the first. The Curry Club will be popping up at the Earthy Market Cafe, Ratcliffe Terrace, hit-listed by The List for two years running.Inspired by his Brummie roots, Pete Jackson, one of the founding directors of Earthy Foods, wants to bring some ‘balti magic from the balti triangle’ in Birmingham here to you in Scotland. This is music to mymonkfish ears! As a fellow brummie and lover of all things curry the first pop-up curry club promises to get those taste buds tingling.

With Sarah the curry queen at the helm in the kitchen the menu will use the best locally sourced produce that Scotland has to offer, including the lovely Hugh Grierson’s organic beef.
